First awkward meeting

So, well, hello.

This is the first post on my newborn blog. It's still just a small idea in my head, and I can't believe I'm already sending this into the world in a few minutes. Not that theres already someone going to read it...

Let me introduce myself. I am Manon, born in The Netherlands. As you probably notice, I'm writing in English ;). I could also just write in Dutch, my own language, but I thought that English could be the best solution, since not everyone can read Dutch.

I was born on the fifth of July, 1995. That makes me sixteen years old (since 12 days officially today). I've just gotten a baby neace, and she's the most adorable thing I have ever seen alive on this planet (next to puppy's, kittens and other baby animals ofcourse).

It's still a bit dangerous since she was born 2 and a half months too early. But she's doing really well so we all think she's going to make it perfectly!

I live in the oldest city of my country which is, I guess, pretty special. But it's not like I want to live here for the rest of my life. My ultimate dream would be becoming an actress and live in the US, but ofcourse, that's just a dream. Things that have a low rate of succeeding.

I just got my VMBO-t diploma, probably US-and-stuff people have no idea what this is, and I am too lazy to explain this. It sounds stupid, but it's sort of the lowest level of High School (o, I did explain). Anyway, to tell you better news: I'm going to Havo, which is one level higher. That means two more years of studying and then hopefully gain my next diploma.

I have two brothers, one living close to me in Holland (the one who became a dad on the 11th of July) and one living in Belgium. Next to that I'm a pretty normal girl, I guess. I wear glasses, am quite tiny and have a passion for shooting beautiful moments into a picture frame, singing the songs I love and writing stories.

Yesterday, I got my first new camera, the SLT-A33 Sony. I love it. The photo's are gorgeous, I just need to learn using it a bit better. I hope the photo's don't lose their quality on here. BTW, the big picture on the front of this blog, with the cat, is made by me. She's so cute, isn't she? Her name is Noa and she lives with my brother in Belgium.

I hope this post wasn't too long, boring, or whatever. But since I'm guessing no one is reading this already, I'll just type this for myself, which is why it's not a perfect text. Oh well.
